New Survey on Workload

[Workload cartoon - desk piled high]

The union will be conducting a national survey this month on the issue of teacher workload. The union needs to update the guidance it issued several years ago in conjunction with the "beating back bureaucracy campaign." Following the survey new guidance for members will be issued in line with a new national strategy. Until that happens, we believe that the status quo should remain and members should not be being asked to attend additional meetings etc.

When you receive your survey/ballot form we urge you to use your vote and push for the union to continue its campaign against the increase in teachers' workload.
