Do you know if there's a potentially dangerous student in your school?
A teacher was recently awarded £250,000 in damages following an attack by a student who had previously attacked another member of staff. School managers had failed to inform teachers about the attack.
Managers are often reluctant to pass on information about potentially dangerous students and it can be particularly difficult to get any details about students who are involved in managed moves. They should be aware that silence can be expensive.
